Whether you’re replacing your phone over a broken screen or switching it out for an upgrade, you must ensure that your personal information is wiped out before you get rid of it. No matter how broken you think it is, your information is still there. You can still get information from behind that broken screen.

Are you worried that your phone screen is broken and you cannot erase your personal information? Don’t worry. Just hook it up to your computer and erase your info there. After making sure your phone is clean of all personal information, you can check online for available marketplaces and put it up for sale.

Alternatively, there are many charitable organizations that help the needy. You can look up which ones take electronic gadgets. Refurbishing a donated phone is cheaper than buying a new one, after all. Your oldie might be a good newie for someone who needs it.
